History, science, mythology, world cultures…

Welcome to Travel Mood Studio

Where Teaching Meets Creativity.

After years of teaching across different continents, the passion for sharing knowledge has always remained at the heart of what I do. My husband is still a teacher today, and together with our nine-year-old daughter (our official “chief of testing”) we created Travel Mood Studio.

Our mission? To turn learning into a moment of joy, curiosity, and calm.

What is the concept?

We design educational coloring books that bridge the gap between art and information. We believe that when a child’s hands are busy coloring, their mind is open to learning.

  • Smart Learning: Every illustration is paired with clear, accessible text to explain complex topics, from Ancient History to Marine Biology.

  • Active Retention: Coloring helps children anchor knowledge, improve focus, and memorize through visual and tactile engagement.

  • Screen-Free Moments: Our books offer a peaceful, structured alternative to digital world, perfect for the classroom, at home, or while traveling.

What our community says:

“A powerful tool for my 5th graders.”

“I’ve been incorporating the ‘Women of History’ coloring book into my social studies curriculum this year, and the response from my students has been incredible. It’s not just a filler activity, it’s a conversation starter. The portraits are stunning, and the biographical texts are just the right length to keep them engaged without feeling like a chore. Seeing my students(boys and girls alike) take such care in coloring these figures while discussing their impact on the world is a highlight of my week. Thank you”

“The perfect creative souvenir.”

“We just finished a massive road trip through the States, and the ‘American Escapes’ book was a total lifesaver. My daughter loved the vintage travel poster style, it felt much more ‘grown-up’ and artistic than a standard coloring book. We’d find the page for the National Park or city we just visited, and she’d spend the evening coloring it as a way to decompress. It’s become a beautiful, personalized keepsake of our journey that she actually wants to keep on her bookshelf. Plus, it gave us some quiet time to enjoy the views!”

“A staple in our worldschooling toolkit.”

“We’ve been living on the road for two years now, and space in our bags is limited, so every book we carry has to earn its spot. Travel Mood Studio books are among the few that made the cut. We use the ‘Kawaii Cats’ series (London and Italy are favorites!) for fun cultural immersion, but it’s the educational titles like ‘Peoples of the World’ that really stand out. The ‘one page, one idea’ format is brilliant for our lifestyle; my kids can learn about a new culture or tradition in bite-sized pieces that actually stick. They’re finally retaining the information and, more importantly, they’re excited to share what they’ve discovered. A must-have for any homeschooling family.”
